Structure of the Atom


3.Isotopes of Oxygen.


The oxygen element has three isotopes :
A= 168O A= 178O and A= 188O
All the isotopes of oxygen have the same atomic number of 8 but they have different mass numbers (or atomic masses) of 16, 17 and 18 respectively.
