Force and Laws of Motion

Question:

Define intertia.

Answer:

Inertia is the resistance of a body to change in its state of rest or motion. It is an inherent property of the body. The property of inertia is due to the mass of the body. Greater the mass, higher will be the inertia.

There are three kinds of intertia:
  • Intertia of rest
  • Interia of motion
  • Interia of direction.
  • previuos
