Work and Energy

Question:

How do you differentiate between energy and power ?

Answer:

The energy possessed by an object is a measure of the total amount of work it can perform without any reference to the time in which this work has been performed.Power,on the other hand,is the rate at which work is done and not the total amount of work done.
